General Info

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Inland Empire VEX IQ Middle School League.  We are excited to bring together some of Southern California's finest teams and battle for a chance to go to the state championships.  This event is for new teams and is focused on learning about VEX IQ and exploring the world of competitive robotics.  If you would like to join the league please email the Event Partner at [email protected].  Please include your team number and information on where your team is located and experience with VEX IQ.

Teams must be paid three weeks prior to the event. Teams not paid at this time may be dropped at the event partner's discretion to allow teams in from the wait list.

Match Lists will be generated as scheduled and cannot be re-run.

Participation and Consent Form

A completed form for all participants must be uploaded on robotevents.com. There is a link on robotevents.com to the smart waiver consent form.

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If any session has to be cancelled, we will offer an additional session.

The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date on RobotEvents.com and includes both school and non-school email addresses and phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

All requests for refunds must be made three weeks prior to the event. Refunds, if approved, will be processed within one month following the event. 

Payment in full is required 3 weeks prior to tournament or teams may be dropped by the event partner. 

Judging Format

 

 

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
