Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

8:15 - 9:30    Skills open on all fields

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of weather-related cancellation, teams will be contacted as early as possible and event registration fees will be returned minus the $5 RECF processing fee. There will be no make up date. 

Registration fee is due one week prior to the event. Registration fees will not be refunded for teams that register and choose not to come.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled for inclement weather or Covid. Refunds will NOT include the $5 RECF processing fee. Registration fees can be paid by credit card when you register the team or by check made out to Collegium Charter School. Team that have not paid by the day of the event will not be permitted to attend.

Our evemt health and safety policy will follow the federal, state and local government requirements.

This policy will be subject to change based on any policy updates at the time of the event. These policies will be clearly communicated as information updates via email.

Judging Format

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.

 

Digital notebook submissions are due by January 29, 2024 at 5pm.
