General Info

Triton Central Middle School invites you to join us for our TCMS March Madness VEX IQ BLENDED State Qualifier.  This event will be held at Triton Central Middle School.  Cash only concessions will be offered throughout the day.  This event will be basketball themed!  We encourage teams to dress in their best basketball team gear!  Feel free to also decorate your pit area!

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

7:30 Inspection starts, all fields open for practice to teams who have passed inspection

8:00 Check-in deadline (all teams not checked-in will be left off of the match schedule)

8:30 Opening ceremonies and driver meeting

8:45 Qualifications/Skills attempts begin on skills field only.

12:00 Qualifications stop, Skills attempts stop.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Please check your email for cancellations/delays based on weather.  Refunds will be available if you are unable to travel due to weather.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: A full refund will be given minus the $5 team fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds will be given.

Judging Format

We will be interviewing teams in person.  You may submit your Engineering Notebook digitally no later than WEDNESDAY 2/14/24 11:59PM.

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews will be in-person the day of the event. 
  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions:  Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline is Wednesday 2/14/24 11:59PM.
