General Info

Welcome to the 2023-23 Trojan VIQRC Full Volume Tournament. We look forward to hosting you!

This event is looking for Volunteers! Please check out the volunteer tab if you are wanting to sign up to help us out! Each participating team is asked to provide at least one volunteer for all or a portion of the day.

Participation and Consent Forms

Completed/signed consent FORMS for all participants (students, volunteers, mentors and participating adults) must be turned in online using this link (http://www.robotevents.com/consent)

Lunch and Concessions

Pizza will be availabe as a pre-order, so get your pre-order in by January 10th..  Concessions will have drinks, snacks, and treats. 

Notebooks and Judging

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

7:30 am - Doors open - Volunteer Check in

8:00 am - Team Check In - Inspection Opens

8:15 am - Skills Field opens - for teams done with inspection

9:00 am - Team Check and Inspection closes - any team not checked in or inspected will be dropped from the schedule

9:05 am - Opening Ceremonies and Drivers meeting

9:30 am - 12:00 pm - Qualifying matches on main fields.

12:00 am - 12:30 pm - Lunch Break - any skills not run can happen at this time

12:30 pm - 3:00 pm - Finish Qualifying matches and Finals

3:30 pm - Awards

Volunteer

We are greatly in need of volunteers for this tournament.  We will be putting on this tournament solely with volunteers.  Please have one volunteer per team to make this a great event!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of INCLEMENT WEATHER (as determined by SVVSD) the tournament will be canceled and no refunds will be available.

Refund and Payment Policies

Full refund if cancelled before 12/16/23, minus the $5.00 RobotEvents fee which is non-refundable.  The date allows us to contact teams on the waitlist to confirm they can attend.

On or after 12/16/23, we will refund only if there is a replacement team on the wait list who actually participates in the event.

Teams who have not paid by Noon MDT on 12/20/23 and who have not made other arragements may be moved to the waitlist until arrangements are made.
