General Info
DATE CHANGE: Please note that the tournament date changed since the event was first posted. The event will now take place February 10th instead of February 3rd.
We are excited to host our second robotics tournament at Mapleton Local School District. The Mapleton Robotics Winter Clash is now a dual tournament. We will be hosting two simulataneous events. One for elementary and one for middle school teams. We plan to have 3 match fields for our middle school teams and 1 for our elementary teams, along with 3 skills fields, and 1-2 practice fields.
Food:
1 Pizza will be provided per team and a bottled water for each participant.
Lunch will also be provided for volunteers and coaches in a designated area.
Concessions will be available for spectators.
Please be aware we are a rural school. The closest resaraunts, gas stations, etc. are about 10 minutes away.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, we will make every attempt to contact all coaches by email, phone or text, as well as make announcements through social media of any changes of the event or the event schedule.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Registration fees minus the $5 REC processing fee per team will be issued if the event is canceled.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
There will be no refunds for individual team cancelations.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
