Welcome to the 2023 MCPS VEX IQ Tournament at Metz Middle School.  We are looking forward to an exciting day of competition playing Full Volume.  Please see the Agenda tab for a tentative schedule.  Teams will be notified in mid-January with finalized information for the event.

8:45am - Inspection begins, Skills Field open (closed during Opening Ceremonies)

9:30am - Opening Ceremonies

9:45am-12:15pm - Qualification Matches

12:15-1:00pm - Lunch (Skills Field closed)

1:00-2:15pm - Qualification Matches

  • Skills Field closes promptly at conclusion of final Qualification Match

2:15-2:30pm - Announcement of Finals Matches Alliances

2:30-3:00pm - Finals Matches

3:00-3:15pm - Awards

3:15-3:45pm - Clean Up

4:00pm - Doors Close

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Manassas City Public Schools has the ultimate say over all weather related delays and closings.  In the event that weather should cancel this event, refunds will be issued to teams that paid prior to arrival.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued to teams that paid prior to arrival (minus the $5 fee from Robot Events)

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refund will be offered unless another team is able to take the open spot.
