We are thrilled to have you at our Wayne Center Elementary VEX IQ Tournament on February 17, 2024! Please look for more information to be added to the RobotEvents website as we get closer to the event date. This event will offer 2 state spots for Teamwork Champion.  There will NOT be a state spot for the Excellence Award.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on Robotevents.com where I will post updates about the event status as needed. Please feel free to contact Ashley Neace by phone if you are going to be late to the event. Match Lists will be generated as scheduled and cannot be re-run.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Should the Event Partner cancel, refunds will more than likely not be given due to the cost of organizing the event. Please note that the event will only be canceled due to extreme circumstances.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds are granted in extreme cases only and on a case-by-case basis.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
