General Info

Welcome to the 2023 PYRE Robotics December (Afternoon) Qualifier!  We are excited to host you for VEX IQ Competition: Full Volume!

The event will be hosted in the main gymnasium at Plainfield Community Middle School.  Please enter through Door 17 (at the south end of the building).  Please see the Image Gallery for a map of the entrace and parking.

This is an AFTERNOON event.  Please check the agenda for details.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

  • Doors Open / Inspection Opens - 1:00pm
  • Skills Opens for Inspected Teams - 1:30pm
  • Inspection Closes / Event Meeting - 2pm
  • Qualification Matches - 2:30pm - 5:30pm
  • Finals (Top 10) - 6:00pm
  • Event Closes

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Being early December, we will be watching the weather conditions.  We will attempt to either delay or reschedule in the event of inclement weather.  If rescheduled to a time you are unable to attend, a credit toward a future competition we host will be provided.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

A refund will be given less the $5 RobotEvents fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refund will be given.
