General Info

 

Cold Spring Tournaments will be divided into TWO parts of the day.  (We have done this before and it works well) 

Elementary Competitions will start at 9 and end by 12:30  

Middle School Competitions will start at 1:30 and end at 5:00

We will offer Skill runs at both competitions. 

All Judging (for those wishing to be interviewed) will be videotaped by our representative the week prior to the event. 

Notebooks must be submitted 10 days prior to the event.

Payment not received by two weeks prior will result in removal from tournament.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

All attempt will be made to reschedule tournaments in case of weather

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

All attempts will be made to reschedule tournaments.  

Money will be transferred to another tournament of refunded if rescheduling is impossible. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If cancellations are made 4 weeks prior (or more) money will be refunded - minus the 5.00 fee from RobotEvents.  

Any cancellation with less notice will not be refunded.

Judging Format

 

  •  All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.  Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
