Thank you for registering for the 2nd annual Kirkwood District VEX IQ event. We are excited to see you. 

 

Important:

All teams MUST have their consent forms updated and uploaded to robotevents.com or bring it to the event.

We need all teams to bring a game field and elements. Additionally, we need all teams to provide 2 adults to assist with judging.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Volunteer

No experience is required for most of our volunteer positions.

However, volunteers should have an interest in and enthusiasm for robotics.

A hospitality room will provide a free snack and drinks for all working volunteers.

Please provide at least one volunteer per team to help support the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If inclement weather occurs, or an emergency arises and the tournament needs to be canceled or rescheduled we will notify all participants of the changes first thing in the morning. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: teams will be refunded their full entry fee. If canceled due to weather (-$5 for robotevents fee).

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: they will not receive a refund.

 

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
