General Info
Welcome to Garland ISD's Ice Ice Bots tournament! Garland continues to plays host to some of the best events in the state! We are looking forward to another great event. This is an in-person event. Judging is available remotely and in-person. Please read each of the following. Each of these will be adhered to with no exceptions. Only region 5 registrations will be accepted.

Although we don’t expect there to be any violations during the tournament, the EP reserves the right to disqualify any person(s) and ask perpetrators to leave the premises. .

All participants are expected to have the participant release form . (Spanish) on file prior to competing. Please verify that all your students have this form completed and it has been uploaded to your team’s account
Digital engineering notebooks will be accepted through Robot Events and are due on Friday, January 5.
Concessions will be available at the event.
There will not be public practice fields offered at this event. If you bring your field, note that it becomes a public field when your team is not using it.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If the event is canceled, coaches will be notified by email.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: There will be no refunds
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: There will be no refunds
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
