General Info

It's cold outside, so come inside and do robotics instead!

This is a Middle School only event, with state qualifying spots for Teamwork Champions, and Middle School Exellence,.

We will have our world famous concession stand open and fully loaded, so skip packing those brown bag lunches and help us raise some money while getting some great snacks in return! We will also be offering team lunch preorders of Mozzi's Pizza and Chick-Fil-A Sandwiches.

Please pay one week prior to the event.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We will contact teams in case of inclement weather the night before the competition. Refunds will be made per REC terms and conditions.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

All Refunds will be granted

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If a waitlist exists, refunds will be made for teams needing to withdraw due to reasonable challenges.

 

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
