Welcome

To the FVL VEX Experience! Teams of all ages will be competing in VEX IQ Competition and VEX Robotics Competition, hoping to take home the trophy and earn a spot in the Wisconsin VEX State Championship.

Participant Consent Forms

All team members and coaches need to turn in a electronic Participant Consent Form.

Event Apparel for Sale

We will have special event apparel for sale at the tournament.

Parking and Event Map

All the events will take place on the lower level of the campus. Competitors and spectators may enter the building at entrance K. Go to Documents for an event map and parking map.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Friday, February 9:

Setup: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Optional Inspection, Pit setup, and Skills: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Coaches and parents asked to assist as they are able)

Saturday, February 10:

Doors Open: 7:00 AM

Registration and Inspection: 7:30 AM

Skills Fields Open: 8:00 AM (Skills Fields Close at end of Qualification Rounds)

Drivers and Coaches Meeting: 9:15 AM

Teamwork Matches: 9:30 AM – 12:15 PM

Break: 12:15 PM – 12:45 PM

Teamwork Matches: 12:45 – 3:45 PM

Finals 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM (Top 30 Teams)

Awards Presentation: 4:30 PM

Note: We will do our best to stay on schedule, but times may change depending on flow of event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If inclement weather forces a cancellation or rescheduling, the event page will be updated to give details.

Refund and Payment Policies

All registration fees must be paid two weeks prior to the event.

Any teams that cancel earlier than two weeks may request a refund minus a 20% fee.

Any teams that cancel later than two weeks prior to the event may not receive a refund.

Teams that register less than two weeks before the event must pay at time of registration. The registration fee will be non-refundable.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.

The INNOVATE Award will be given out at this tournament. Teams that would like to be considered for this award should complete the Innovate Award Submission Information Form and include it in the beginning of their Engineering Notebook:
