Welcome to the thrilling world of Magikid San Marino Lab VIQRC Full Volume Tournament 1, the VEX IQ robotics competition! We're excited to have you join us.

Lunch will not be provided. While we hope to have practice fields available, if you require one, kindly bring your own, and we will do our best to accommodate as many practice fields as possible.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For event day information concerning weather updates, delays, or cancellations, we kindly ask you to refer to the event page for the latest updates. In the unlikely event that the planned schedule is affected, rest assured that we will promptly notify you via email.

Moreover, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, particularly regarding inclement weather. If, due to adverse weather conditions, schools are closed in your district, and travel to the event is not possible, we will be happy to offer refunds or rainchecks to ensure fairness and accommodate all participants. Your safety and convenience are of utmost importance to us, and we strive to make the best arrangements in such situations.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

All registration paid will be refunded. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Registration fees will be refunded only if cancellation is requested at least 2 weeks before the commencement of the event.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
