General Info
We are excited to welcome you to our Pittsboro Tournament at Pittsboro Elementary. We hope your teams will enjoy competing and learning from other teams.
This is an Official Indiana VEX IQ State Qualifying Event.
Any team not paid by January 22nd will be removed and that space will be offered to a team on the wait list.
Participation and Consent Form A must be completed for all participants and turned in during check-in, or uploaded online. Team leaders will need to collect the completed forms for all team members attending the event and turn them in to the registration desk when checking in if forms were not completed online. The day of registration deadline is 8:30AM. Teams not registered by that time will be removed from the event and not be included in the match list.
All payments for entry fees MUST be in advance. Payments not accepted at the door.

Judging Format: In-Person interviews/Engineering Notebooks submitted online via Robot Events.
We will have a concession stand the day of the event. An email with this information will be sent January 22nd. If you have questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out.

7:45 – 8:30 Inspection and Check In: Teams MUST have robot inspected prior to competition 8:30. Teams not checked in and inspection passed by 8:30 will forfeit matches for this session.
8:30 – 8:45 Drivers Meeting
9:00 Matches generated and dispersed
8:00 – 11:00 Skills open to teams that have passed inspection
9:15 – 11:30 Qualification Matches
11:30 - 12:30 Final Matches/Awards Presented
12:30 Clean Up, help from other teams appreciated

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of an Emergency/Bad Weather teams will be notified as soon as possible by the phone number listed for each team's coach.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: refunds minus $5.00 will be issued
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refund will be given
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
