Welcome to Upper Perk Robotic's  first IQ event of the season!

Note:  The fields will be raised to approx 18" off the ground.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of a weather-related cancellation, teams will be contacted as early as possible and event registration fees will be returned minus the $5 RECF processing fee. There will be no makeup date.

Registration fee is due 1 week prior to the event.  Registration fees will not be refunded for teams that register but choose not to come.  

 

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled for inclement weather or COVID.  Refunds will NOT include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events. Registration fees can either be paid by credit card when you register the team of by check, written to Upper Perk Robotics on the day of the event.  Teams that have not paid on time will not be permitted to participate.

Our event health and safety policy will follow the Federal, State, and local government requirements.

This policy will be subject to change based on any policy updates at the time of the event. These policies will be clearly communicated as information update emails.

Enter the church under the portico through the main entrance.  Move through the lobby into the main assembly room.  Your pit area will be marked.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews:

Team interviews will be held in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks must be submitted digitally for evaluation via the link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.   To submit your digital notebook, ensure your team profile has been updated with a link to your notebook, by 5PM the day before the event.    

DIGITAL NOTEBOOK SUBMISSIONS are due by 6PM FRIDAY, JANUARY 19th.  You will be notified ahead of time if a team in your organization will be called for an engineering notebook in-person interview.
