General Info

PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL THE TABS.  

Teams need to pay within 2 weeks of registering.  Teams that have not paid 2 weeks after registering may be moved to the waitlist.  Payment at that point will add your team to the event if there is space.  If you have paid and are still on the waitlist please email [email protected]

All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct.

All participants are expected to complete the participant release form . (also available in Spanish)  Once per season covers all events

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

9 AM- Doors open- NO TEAMS WILL BE PERMITTED PRIOR TO 9

9:15AM: Check-in, Inspections start right away.  Skills start (teams must be inspected)

10:00AM- All teams must be checked in. If you are not checked in by 10:00AM, your team risks not being in a match schedule.  

10:15- Matches start

12:15PM-12:45PM Lunch

12:40PM-4:45PM qualification matches 

5:00PM- Finals start

5:30- Awards

5:50- IQ tear down- Volunteers may start disassembling all IQ fields and cleaning up.

The event is indoors and will proceed rain, snow, or shine. Unless there is a power outage.

If the Event Partner cancels the event, Full refund will be provide 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: NO Refund will be given.

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline may be scheduled ahead of the event date.


Notebooks are due at the time of registration Please ensure a link is provided with in-robot events prior to registering for the event.
