General Info

We are excited to welcome you to SharkFest at Sand Creek Intermediate!  We hope your teams will enjoy competing and learning from other teams.

This is an Official Indiana VEX IQ State Qualifying Event.

Participation and Consent Form A must be completed for all participants and uploaded online. 

 

We will have a concession stand with a variety of food options.  We will also have a pizza option that needs to be ordered in advance.  The link will go out in the welcome email.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

7:30 am           Doors open

8:00 – 9:00      Inspection and Check In: Teams MUST have robot inspected prior to competition 9:00. 

9:00 – 9:15      Drivers Meeting

9:15 – 9:30      Matches generated and dispersed

9:30 – 3:00    Qualification Matches

3:15 – 3:45      Final matches / Awards given out

4:00                 Clean Up, help from other teams is appreciated

Volunteer

No extra volunteers are needed at this time.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event will only be cancelled if Hamilton Southeastern Schools cancels all events.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be given minus $5

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Notice of withdrawl must be sent to [email protected] no later than November 10th to be considered for a refund.
