General Info

Join us for our very first Vex IQ Robotics Tournament at the San Antonio Academy campus located in the historic Monte Vista neighborhood of old San Antonio.

Rumor has it that ghosts may haunt some of our stately old buildings, come find out for yourself at the blended SAA Monster Bots Tourney for ES and MS Vex IQ teams. Get into the spirit and join us for a fun day of robots, teamwork, and spooctacular fun!!

Thank you for your interest. We hope this event gives your teams a chance to compete, have fun and gain valuable experience. We have a great venue and are so happy and excited to be part of VEX robotics. This is an in-person event and teams need to bring printed copies of their Engineering Notebooks for judging. Please let us know if you can help out by bringing a field for practice in exchange for a reduced fee. The pit area will be in our gym.  A table and chair will be provided for each team and bleechers are available for additional seating. Feel free to bring  portable seating that may be more comfortable. Concessions will be available (breakfast tacos, pizza, snacks, drinks). On campus parking. Encourage your teams to bring that Halloween/Vex spirit so we can all have a monster-ously great robot event!!
