General Info

This is an Official Indiana VEX IQ State Qualifying Event.

Concessions will be available all day for breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

Judging will not take place at this event. Therefore, engineering notebooks will not be submitted.

Due to construction, teams and spectators should enter the school through door S-18 (on the south side of the high school) and park in the parking lot between our high school and elemtary school.

Please make sure all participants and coaches have filled out the online participant release form.

If your team needs any special accommodations, please contact Emily Eaton, in advance, so arrangements can be made to meet the needs of your team.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteer

We welcome volunteers for our event! If you are intersted in volunteering, please email Emily Eaton at [email protected]. We are looking for help with queuing, field reset, refereeing, and skills.   For those volunteering, a background form will need to be filled-out in advance of the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Bad weather conditions or possible cancellation will be communicated via email. Please feel free to contact Emily Eaton by phone 765-652-1971 (text is best) if you are going to be late to the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: refunds will be made minus the $5.00 for administratve fees and postage.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refund will be issued.

Registration fees will not be refunded if teams do not cancel by 02/16/2024.

All teams need to be present and checked in prior to the start of the competition (no later than 9:00am). Refunds will not be issued to teams who arrive after competition rounds have begun. 

In the event that this tournament cannot take place due to inclement weather or COVID-19, registration fees will be returned minus $5.00 for administrative fees and postage.
