Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda for the Timberline Middle School VEX IQ Tournament*

8:00 AM  - Doors Open (no entrance prior to 8:00 am)

8:05 AM - Inspection Opens 

8:30 AM - Skills Opens 

9:00 AM - Inspection and team check-in closes. Teams arriving after this nor having passed inspection will not be allowed to play.

9:15 AM - Opening Ceremony / Drivers Meeting (Skills paused during Opening Ceremonies/Drivers Meeting)

9:30 AM - Qualification Matches 

12:00-12:30 PM Lunch (Food must be consumed outside and in designated areas, Food is located nearby and we may have a food truck coming)

2:30 PM - End Qualification Matches / Skills Closes

3:00 PM - Finals Matches

3:45 PM - Awards

4:00 PM - End of Event / Clean-up (please leave Pits clean)

Should we encounter bad weather, Team Leads will be notified ASAP.

Refunds are considered on a case by case basis. Please contact the event partners at [email protected] if you might need a refund.

 

Judging Format

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Deadline for submitting your notebook is Friday night before the event by 23:59.
