General Info

We are excited to welcome you to the Lawrence Township Tournament at Fall Creek Valley Middle School. We hope your teams will enjoy competiting and meeting other teams from around Indiana. 

This is an Official Indiana VEX IQ State Qualifying Event. 

Any team not paid by Jan 20th will be removed and that space will be offered to a team on the wait list. 

All payments for entry fees MUST be in advance. Payments not accepted at the door.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Volunteer

It takes some really aweseome people to run events like these, and if you would like to or know someone that wants to volunteer please reach out to the event partner. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event will only be cancelled if MSD Lawrence Township Schools cancels all events.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: refunds minus $5.00 will be issued

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refund will be given.

Judging Format

 Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. 

 

ALL NOTEBOOK SUBMISSIONS WILL NEED TO BE TURN IN BY 1/20/2024 BY 4PM.
