General Info

Doors will open at 8:00 AM, we will not open the doors early.  

Email is the easiest way to get a hold of me as I tend to be running around my district throughout the day supporting the students & staff.

Tournament INFO:

We will have one game field and 1 skills field.  We are hoping to secure a practice field to have available in the pit area.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

8 AM- Doors open- NO TEAMS WILL BE PERMITTED PRIOR TO 8

8:15 AM: Check-in, Inspections start right away

8:30 AM: All teams must be checked in. If you are not checked in by 8:30, your team risks not being in match schedule.  

9:00 AM: Skills field opens

9:15 AM- Matches start

12:00-1:00 PM:  Lunch

1:00-3:15 PM: qualification matches 

3:45 PM: Finals start

4:30 PM: Awards

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In care of an emergency/bad weather we will try our hardest to reschedule the event. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: registration will be returned (minus $5.00 for RECF). 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: For a refund, the Event Coordinator must be notified at least 10 days prior to the event so that teams may be moved from the wait list, or other teams invited to attend. The refund will be less than the registration by $5.00 for the RECF. 

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
