General Info

Welcome to PSD League VEX IQ robotics season. We will have 4 league tournament dates with the 4th dating including our finals and skills/programming.

We wil begin at 4:30 and end at 6:30pm each week except for finals night it will end at 7:00.All ournaments will be help at Petal Elementary School.

Hope to see you and your student there having a great time. Thanks a million!

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

  • 4:30pm sign in and wait at pit area for the rest of the team. Then go to robot inspections
  • After inspections use practice fields.
  • 4:50pm 4 teamwork matches will occur for the first 3 league tournaments
  • On the 4th league tournament after inspections teams will report to fields for skills and programming and once these are complete teamsork will begin for our League Fianls.
  • Finsh and clean up by 6:30pm. 

 

Volunteer

Volunteers need to report by 4:00 each day of league. Exception: Set up crew needs to report at 3:30 at Petal Elementary School.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event the bad weather cancels the tournament and barring no damage we will rechedule the tournament. If it cannot be rescheduled then a refund will be issued minus $5.00 REC fee.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

In the event of a cancellation we will try to reschedule the event. If it cannot be reschedueled we will refund the tournament fee minus the $5.00 REC fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If you choose to withdraw or not complete registration with less than 7 days prior to the event we will not be able to issue a refund.

Judging Format

We will have no judging of digital notbooks.
