General Info

Archdiocese of Hartford  is delighted to host the AOH VEXIQ Robotics Competition at East Catholic High School.

The competiton will include Elementary and Middle school. There will also be a Skils Competiton for both Elementary and Middle School.

Remember to bring your Enginnering Notebooks! 

There will be an option to purchase lunch at the school.

Registration will be at 7:30am. . (Doors open at 7:15am)  Teams running late must contact the event partner Laura McCaffrey 

Participation Legal Release form for all participants must be uploaded to robotevents.com prior to arrival. Get it here: Form with instructions how-to-upload.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of inclement weather - the event partner will notify teams/coaches

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be available but the refund does not include the $5.00 that VEXIQ charges. Total refund will be $45.00. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: NO REFUND is given

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
