General Info
This event is hosted by NTID Regional STEM Center at Alabama Insitute for the Deaf and Blind (AIDB).
This event is ONLY for teams with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to [email protected].
All participants are expected to complete the participant release form . (also available in Spanish) This form only needs to be done once per season and covers all VEX IQ events.

Volunteer
Get invovled!
We are always looking for volunteers as we appreciate them tremendously! For this competition, good use of American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus.
Experience Level:
No previous experience is needed for most volunteer posititons, and you can even bring your kids for a family activity (For example, Field Resetter is ideal for younger aged children).
Time Commitment:
You can register for an entire day, or just a portion of the day as your schedule permits for most positions.
Meals:
Lunch and snacks are FREE for volunteers (you will also get a free shirt)!

If necessary, we will make announcement here and on various social media sources.
Refund and Payment Policies
All teams attending this event will be sponsored by NRSC. Hence, there will be no refunds given if the event is cancelled due to any type of emergency, bad weather, or any other reason.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
