General Info
Doors open at 8 AM. A hospitality room will be provided for Coaches and Volunteers. We will have a 1 hour window for lunch. This is NOT enough time for students to leave to eat and be back before matches restart. We have several fast food restaraunts available within a 15 minute drive. We also have a local pizza/sandwich shop called Mojos. I suggest preordering the Friday before to be sure that pizza is ready on time if you are ordering multiple pizzas. The phone number is: 205-483-9700. We appreciate you supporting our local business. Notebooks are judged digitally prior to the competition. Please make sure your link to your teams notebook is uploaded to robot events no later than noon on Friday, October 27. Late notebooks will not be judged. This is a blended event. We typically have enough elementary and middle school registrations to offer a separtate excellence award for each.

Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
The event will be rescheduled.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Payment is due two weeks prior to the competition. If registration is not paid by then the team will be moved to the waitlist. The school cannot refund any registration fees.

Travel Info
Parking is limited please carpool when possible. Busses will need to drop off students and park down the hill at the high school.
Judging Format
Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
