General Info

This tournament is open to middle school students registered with a team in VIQC. 

The event is located at: White House Heritage High School, 7744 Hwy 76, White House, TN 37188. You will park at the back of the building and enter through the back doors. There will be signage directing you to those doors. A map will be sent to tournament registrants closer to the event. Please note this is White House HERITAGE High School. There are 2 high schools in White House, so it's important that you look for the HERITAGE high.

We will offer in person judging and notebook scoring.

Concessions will be provided at the event.

If your team is unable to attend, you can withdraw and request a refund up to 3 weeks prior to the event for a refund. After that we will be unable to give refunds.

Code of Conduct

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that a team has an emergency or issues with weather, please call the Christa Cordrey on the day of at 615-604-1573.

If inclement weather necessitates a change in event status, that information will be reflected on the general information tab of this event and an email will go out to all registered teams and coaches.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

If the event is cancelled and cannot be postponed, then a full refund minus $5 processing fee will be issued once the EP has received all funds from the REC Foundation.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Registered teams may request a refund up to 3 weeks prior to the event. After that time, no refunds will be offered. If your team can not attend, please contact Christa Cordrey at [email protected] to determine refund eligibility. If your team is eligible for a refund, those will be processed after the funds have been received from the REC Foundation, minus the $5 processing fee.

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
