General Info

We're so excited that you'll be joining us for this event!  Our blended grade-level event will take place at the Gillette College Pronghorn Center located at 3807 College Drive in Gillette, WY.  This venue is a basketball arena so there is plenty of seating available for spectators.  All children must be supervised by an adult.  Only team members and coaches will be allowed in the Team Pit and Competition areas.

Please plan to arrive no earlier than 8:30 AM.  

Each team will have a table for their equipment but charging stations will be shared by everyone.  Make sure your equipment and cables are clearly labeled.

There are drink machines and water fountains available however there are no concenssions.  The Pronghorn Center is minutes away from a variety of fast food options including Subway, Arby's, QDoba, Burger King, and more.  Additionally, it is within the delivery boundaries of Domino's, Jimmy John's, and other local restaurants.

This event is sure to be a fast-paced and exciting event. All teams should come prepared for competition. Here are a few steps that every team should take to ensure that they are prepared:

1. Review the rules and run through the inspection checklist before the competition so that there is ample time for adjustments. 

2. Check the official VEX forums for rule updates and changes.

3. Pack for the event the day before the day of departure. 

4. Be certain you have the latest version for your programming software, controllers, and VEX IQ brains.
