Volunteer

Volunteers make robotics tournaments possible and are essential for providing these STEM learning opportunities for our friends and family. Please consider volunteering to help make this event a success.

For this event all the volunteers will be the member of the SHHS Rebel Robotics teams, their parents, and coaches.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of impending bad weather, Rebel Robotics will work with the school administration to determine if the event can be held on the regularly scheduled day and time. In the case of bad weather, the first choice will be to keep the event on the same day and alter the schedule. If that is not an option, the event will be postponed and held on DATE TBD. Updates will be provided via email and posted to the event webpage on RobotEvents.com.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the event is cancelled, teams will be given a full refund. Teams that drop out will be given a 50% refund if notified within two weeks of the event. Refunds are less the $5.00 RECF processing fee.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
