General Info

Thank you for joining us for this Vex IQ event.  Below is some basic information about our event. 

  • 2 Event Fields

  • Pit tables organized per SCHOOL (quantity depends on number of teams your school brings.

  • Participation in Skills matches is the responsibility of the team.

  • Each team will have 3 chances at Driver Skills, and 3 chances at Programming Skills

  • You may change drivers between matches as many times as you choose.

  • Any disputes of scores must be made BY the students, PRIOR to leaving the Driver Fields

  • Teams should be ready to go once they reach the Queuing tables, matches will not be postponed due to a team failing to Que, low battery, etc.

  • Team will participate in at least 6 matches

  • Top 16 teams will compete in Finals.

  • Participant must enter the building through the designated door, and are restricted to the designated hallways

  • Notebooks must be turned in by 8:30 am on the day of the event

  • Concessions will be available.

  • We will be providing a full lunch option available. Orders must be placed upon arrival to ensure they are ready for your team at the designated lunch time.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Weather with be examined no less than 24 hours prior to event. If event is cancelled due to weather, it will be rescheduled. No refunds will be provided.

If event is cancelled due to any reason,  it will be rescheduled. No refunds will be provided.

Teams who wish to pull out of the event may receive refunds as the discretion of the Event Partner.  No refunds are guaranteed for any reason.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
