General Info

Maximum Team Registrations

The maximum team registrations per organization is set at two per organization so that we can allow all organizations within our intended service area to register at least one team. We understand that there are many organizations with team counts that exceed this limitation. Please add all teams beyond the two team limit to the waitlist. Notify the event partner of your request for additional teams so that we can work with your organization to ensure everyone can register and participate.

Waitlisted team priority:

  1. Teams that have not participated in any VEX IQ Events This season
  2. Hawaii Island Teams
  3. Outer Island Teams  (Maui, Molokai, Oahu).

We will begin notifying waitlisted teams on December 7th 2022.

LATE Arrivals

Teams must be checked in 45 minutes prior to the start of the qualification matches so that the match schedule may be printed. Teams not checked in by this time may be removed so that the match schedule can be generated on time.

Team Payment

Teams must be paid in full at least two weeks prior (12/24/2022) to the event date (1/7/2023).  Teams that are marked as "unpaid" will be removed from the team event list if there are waitlisted teams. Teams that are marked as "P.O. Processing" will be asked to submit documentation that a Purchase Order has been submitted by your school/organization; without documentation payment will be treated as "unpaid" and will be removed from the team event list if there are waitlisted teams. Teams not paid in full by the event date will not be permitted to participate.

Team Expectations / Code of Conduct

We expect the following behavior and ethical standards at all REC Foundation-sanctioned events.
