General Info

Thank you for registering for North West Hendricks VEX IQ ES state qualifying event.  This event is sponsored by Pittsboro Elementary School. This competition will host both elementary and middle school events. It is not a blended competition. Events will run simultaneously. Doors will open at 8:00 A.M. and opening ceremonies will begin promptly at 9:00 A.M. We will have a concession stand that offers donuts, drinks, and snack items. Lunch options will be provided. We will email a confirmed agenda to all registered teams the week prior to our event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on Robotevents.com where I will post updates about the event status as needed. Please feel free to contact me by phone (317-440-4012) if you are going to be late to the event. Match Lists will be generated at 8:45 a.m. and cannot be re-run.

Refund and Payment Policies

Event payments are expected when you register for the event and must be completed by December 14th. At that time, un-paid teams will be removed from the event to allow teams on the wait list to register. Please contact Julie Wiles (317-440-4012) if there are considerations to be made.

All requests for refunds must be made 2 weeks prior to the event. Refunds, if approved, will be processed ASAP following the event. Any refund will be less the $5-dollar processing fee.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
