This robotics event will be held at Nova High school VOLUNTEERS are needed, but should contact [email protected]

All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct. All participants are expected to complete the participant release form  AND submit ONLINE by the team coach for this and future events! (NOTE: You MUST know your full team number ex:4330X in order to complete the online form)

The teams coach who is officially listed in robotevents as the primary contact receives all team emails, so read the email titles and content carefully, and ensure your IT does not block emails from and  or from belinda,[email protected]

Tentative Agenda

Doors open 8:00AM (Check in and inspections open immediately)

Check-in until 9:00 (FIRM--if you hit traffic, you MUST email b[email protected] to be included in match list)

Skills field opens at 9:30

Inspections COMPLETE at 9 (Again, this is FIRM--bring robots ready to compete)

Driver's meeting 9:15

Opening ceremonies 9:30

Team matchups and challenges begin at 9:45am

Lunch break 11:30-12:15

Continue with matchups 

Skills field closes at 1:30pm

Final challenges begin at 1:45pm

Awards 3:00pm


Volunteers are the heart of every VEX competition--without them the event simply cannot function. In a perfect world, every robot team would provide at least 2 adult volunteers at every event.  We would be grateful to anyone who wishes to help out.  However, due to COVID, we require that all volunteers be registered in advance--contact [email protected] with the subject "Volunteer for January 28, 2023" ASAP if you would like to help out at this event.

Judging Format

This event will have All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
