Modesto Robotics and Technology invite your teams to participate in the VIQC Slap Shot Tournament to be held in East Palo Alto, California.
We strive to conduct the event in a safe manner.

Please note: all events will receive state championship award bids based on the REC Foundation Qualifying Criteria. As such, this event must meet all requirements for a Qualifying Event to receive bids for the state championship released in August 2022.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
Refund and Payment Policies
Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted two weeks after registering for the event will be moved to the waitlist. We need to keep spots open for teams who want to register for the event.
The registration contains a $5 RobotEvents processing fee that is non-refundable
If the event is canceled, a full event registration (minus $5) refund will be given to all paid teams. However, no other refunds will be granted. Teams are responsible for their own transportation and hotel costs.
Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
