Welcome to the 1st annual 2022-2023 Big Island Elementary Vex IQ League hosted by Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi - Kula Haʻahaʻa (Elementary)
This is a live, in-person event.
The Big Island Elementary Vex IQ League would like to provide haumāna of Hawaiʻi Island the ability to build skills through friendly robotics competition and pilina.
This event will follow all local health and safety guidelines. In addition, Kamehameha School may require additional health and safety protocols. More information will be sent out to all registered teams on any updates or changes.

Volunteer
Volunteers are the backbone to the success of any event. We are currently seeking volunteers in any capacity. Experience is not required for many roles!
We are currently looking for volunteers for the following:

- Field Resetter
- Judges
- Robot Inspection
- Set up & Clean up

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event that we are unable to convene due to inclement/bad weather the individual event will be rescheduled.
The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed.
Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date in RobotEvents.com, and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
Refund Policy
Once the registration deadline is reached, there will be no refunds unless the tournament is canceled because of the weather. Refunds will be $94, less the $5 processing fee the REC Foundation charges for each team.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
