Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament. Please consider volunteering. No prior experience is necessary. Please email csmothers@sgis.org to sign up. Volunteers will receive any training necessary, complimentary food, and a full day of inspiration working with incredibly talented youth.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, updates will be made by email. Please be sure the contact information for your team is accurate and up to date.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels/postpones the event: 

  • Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled by Brentwood Academy. Refunds will not include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events for processing.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

  • Registrations will not be refunded for teams that register but choose not to come. 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
