General Info

Thank you so much for joining us this year! We had to adjust our format to best fit our school's requirements for in person events this year. Please make sure you read the following so you will be prepared and not caught off guard!  More info here: https://tinyurl.com/AMSRoboticsTournament

We want this to be a fun and relaxed event! Be prepared to help out where needed and prepare your students to do the same. 

GENERAL RESTRICTIONS

  • Participants must stay within the designated areas

  • There will be a livestream link sent out before the event. 

  • Notebooks will be judged in person and turned in at the door, the morning of the event. 

TEAM RESTRICTIONS:

  • You may bring a maximum of 4 persons per team. (5 teams would be a max of 20 team members)

EVENT ADJUSTMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS: (subject to change as needed)

  • Inspections will be done volunteers (and team coaches if needed)

  • Judging of Notebooks will be judged by outside judges and need to be turned in by 8:30 am for Judging. 

  • There will be limited concessions (pizza, drinks, chips, candy, etc). There are many areas you can order from to have food delivered or brought in for our lunch break.  You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks. 

  • We will be working with volunteers but it is expected that coaches will pitch in as needed, and student will act appropriately, or you will be asked to leave.

  • Come ready to play - There will be no practice fields provided. (subject to change if fields become available)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If severe weather becomes a concern a decision will be made as early as possible and contact will be made to the coaches on the registration form information. If weather is an issue, we will reschedule as soon as possible. No refunds will be issued for rescheduled events. 

Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued in the case of severe weather or catastrophic event. Refunds will not be issued for teams that do not get to participate due to covid issues or not following the guidelines. 

Judging Format

 

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.Engineering Notebooks will still be submitted in person the day of the event to be evaluated by judges.
