Welcome to the OSCS November Slapshot Torunament!

Some basics:

  • The only people allowed in the pit area is the team and the registered coach(es)
  • All participants are expected to adhere by the code of conduct  .
  • All participants are expected to complete the participant release form . (also available in Spanish)  Once per season covers all events

Agenda

8:00 Doors open, registration, and inspection - *Turn in engineering notebooks when you register. The judges will need to start by 9:00.

9:00 Opening remarks, driver meeting - Robot skills will run until the qualification matches are over.  Get your rounds in early!

9:30 Qualification matches start.

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch - concessions available

1:00 - 2:30 Qualification Matches

3:00 - 4:00 Finals Matches, immediately followed by awards

5:00 Conclusion

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

For event day information regarding weather delays or cancellations, please check the event page for updates and call Christine Leikness at 689-710-2050.

If schools are closed due to inclement weather and travel is not allowed from your district to the event, refunds or rainchecks will be made.

Refund and Payment Policies

The amount of refund depends on the time the refund is requested.  All refunds for payments through robotevents.com may require 6-8 weeks to process. All refunds will be less the $5 fee for robotevents.com.

Before 2 weeks - full refund

Between 1 and 2 weeks - 75% refund

Within a week of the event - No refund  ( barring extenuating circumstances with documentation)

All refunds depend on when the event partner receives the funds and can be 8 weeks from when you pay.

Judging Format

 

This event will have Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions and In Person Team Interviews:

Please ensure that your team's digital notebook is up to date in robotevents.com 7 days before the event (Jan 20th @11:59pm)  Engineering notebooks are submitted digitally via the link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents..  Your team's notebook can be judged at any point during those 7 days before the event. .

Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
