This is a Florida State Qualifying 'SLAPSHOT' event for the 2022-2023 season.

This is an Elementary School day only.

All participants are expected to complete the participant release form . (also available in Spanish)  Once per season covers all events.

YES!  We do need volunteers!  Volunteers are the heart of every VEX competition--without them the event simply cannot function.  In a perfect world, every robot team would provide at least 2 adult volunteers at every event.  There are lots of different roles that need to be filled, with varying degrees of expertise and physical activity.

PLEASE have one or two of your team parents email me at with the subject "Volunteer for STEM SQUAD Tournament" in the subject line.  I will get back to them ASAP, and thanks in advance!!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Due to the many demands on our facilities, we will not postpone this event. In the event of extreme weather (a hurricane, for instance) the event will be CANCELLED and your registrations refunded (less the fees incurred by**

Refund Policy

Refunds will ONLY be issued in the case of an event cancellation. Please only register robots/teams that intend to attend. Due to the limited space for events, we will not issue a refund for a 'no show.'

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
