General Info

Thank you for your interest in the IQ Elementary Slapshot Tournament hosted by Hudsonville Robotics!  This will be our 2nd year hosting an IQ and we look forward to a fun and collaborative event.

The competition will be hosted in the main gym of Hudsonville High School conveniently located one mile north of I-196 just west of Grand Rapids, Mi. Ample parking is available on campus and there are also plenty of resturants and retail locations in the area.  Note: There are large construction projects happening at the high school near the gym. We will have signs posted to assist you in navigating.

Teams will participate in qualification matches, skills events, in-person, printed notebook, judging in the pits, and elimination matches if qualified.  We will be following the rules in the latest release of the VEX IQ Game Manual.

Pit tables, seating, and electrical charging stations, and public WIFI will be provided.  Teams are welcome to bring their own food and we will have an array of concession snacks and drinks.

Full 16 in. pizzas are available for pre-order from our friends at DJ's Pizza for $15.00 each - cash only.  Our team will take care of the ordering and delivery.  Options include cheese, pepperoni, or ham.  Orders can be placed at check in.
