General Info

Thank you for your interest in FCJH's VIQC MS Slapshot Fall Extravaganza!

Any team not paid within two weeks of the event will be transferred to the waitlist.

Concessions will be available all day for lunch and snacks.  We will be doing group pizza order with more details to come as the event gets closer.

Please make sure all participant and coaches have filled out the online participants release form because the REC now requires all Event Partners to check to make sure all teams have submitted the required online form.

If your team needs any special accommodations, please contact Melanie Shiflet, in advance, so that arrangements can be made to meet the needs of your team.

Early Bird Registration will be used this year.
Note: The first two events selected will count toward Early Bird and cannot be changed once used.

State spots will most likely be added to this event toward the end of October, first of November.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteer

We welcome volunteers for our event! If you are intersted in volunteering, please email [email protected]. We are looking for help with queuing, judging, field reset, building support, and concessions.   For those volunteering, a background form will need to be filled-out in advance of the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on Robotevents.com where I will post updates about the event status as needed. Please feel free to contact Melanie Shiflet by phone (812-360-6961) if you are going to be late to the event. Match Lists will be generated as scheduled and cannot be re-run.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds are granted only in extreme cases.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
