General Info

This League is designed for teams in Sumner County.  Once Sept 10 has passed, I will open the remaining spots for outside teams.

Payment is due by September 25th. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact Jeff Wilkins. 

If you are outside Sumner County and want to attend, add yourself to the wait list. 

All matches will be hosted at Hendersonville High School Cafeteria.  

Additional information regarding directions and campus maps will be added soon.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Participants will be required to submit the VEX liability release form through robotevents.com.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

Matches will take place on Thursday evenings, 9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 11/10, 12/1

5:00PM Doors Open

5:15 - 5:45PM  Event Check-In/Registration/Inspection 

6pm - 7:30pm, Matches take place (2-3 matches per night)

8pm - door close

Skills challenges will be on 12/1 along with the finals.

Finals will include all teams.

Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to a successful league. Please consider volunteering. No prior experience is necessary. Please email [email protected] to sign up. 

Coaches, we would love it if you would provide a field resetter each evening from your parent group.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, updates will be made by email.

Refund and Payment Policies

  • If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

    • Refunds will be given, minus the $5 processing fee from the REC Foundation.

  • If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

    • No refund will be given.
