Agenda

This is all a rough estimate, an educated guess,we will have a better idea after the first round as to how long it will take, and will adjust accordingly.  It may go faster, it may not.  Our hope is that every team will get as many matches each night as we can possibly fit in.  it is all about the kids and the robots, hopefully not a second will be wasted.

The first 3 rounds will hopefully be clones of each other:

  • 5:00 check in teams/inspect robots - Round 1 inspection will take longer
  • 5:15 release match lists/drivers meeting any general announcements  all match lists will go live on VEX Via at this time.
  • 5:30 matches begin
  • 7:30 matches ends for the round
  • Judges will be walking around talking with teams and taking notes throughout the first three rounds to help determine the judged awards.

The finals would consist of the top 10 teams from the qualification matches, all other teams will have opportunities for driving and programming skills runs and scheduled final interviews for the judged awards.  Notebooks will need to be turned in at the end of round 3.

  • 5:00 teams check in and robots are inspected.  Skills fields open
  • 5:15 drivers meeting and announcements
  • Starting at 5:30 finals matches will begin there will be a long interval between matches so teams can be interviewed and skills runs can be completed without unneccessary  stress
    • match 1- 5:30
    • match 2- 5:45
    • match 3- 6:00
    • match 4- 6:15
    • match 5- 6:30
  • 7:00 Skills field close & Awards Ceremony commences
