General Info
The 2023 Utah VEX IQ Challenge Elementary State Championship has been granted 24 VEX IQ World Championship spots.
If a team double-qualifies for a World Championship spot, the state’s next highest ranking team from the State Championship Skills receives the invitation. World Championship invitations from the Skills Standings are offered after the results of the State Championship have been posted at robotevents.com, and will not be announced at the State Championship.
World Championship qualifying awards and invitations are issued to teams whether or not the teams have expressed an intention to attend the event. Unaccepted World Championship invitations are not offered or transferred to other teams.

Skills will be open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with a lunch break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
Judging will occur from 8:30 am until completed.
* Each team will be allowed a maximum of 3 skills runs for both Driving Skills and Programming Skills.
** If you want to be eligible for judging, your engineering notebook will need to be turned in at inspection.

Judging at the State Championship will be:
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
