We are excited to host the 2023 New Mexico VEX IQ State Championship!

Please Join STEM Southwest Podcast and Be Greater Than Average, LLC as we present a In-Person VEX IQ Slapshot State Championship with judging!
The 2024 New Mexico VEX IQ State Championship has been assigned one (1) VEX IQ Elementary and three (3) VEX IQ Middle School spots to the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championship!
Location:
This year's competition will be held at our location across from Intel at 4311 Sara Rd, Ste 105, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 . Arriving by 10:00 to begin inspection check in and sign in. Sign In will include Robot Inspection. Team interviews will be completed throughout at the Teams' tables. The competition will be held from 1:00 to 4 PM. Team schedule slots are assigned through the Tournament software and is generated the morning of the competition. After you have gone through check in and inspection there will be a monitor that displays all the rounds your team is competeing in.
JUDGING (optional): Judging is encouraged, but not required. If you opt to participate in judging, Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. If you need help with submitting a digital notebook, please review the following information Submitting a Digital Notebook for VIQC Remember that an Engineering Notebook is required for the Excellence Award!

10:00 AM - 11:30 PM INSPECTION should be completed by 11:30 am
TEAM INTERVIEWS will be conducted as teams are at their assigned tables through out
competition.
ENGINEERING NOTEBOOK - A Link is to be submitted no later than February 26th, 2023 at Midnight. Link to be submitted to [email protected]

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM COMPETITION
4:15 PM - 4:30 PM Awards and Adjourn
Note that the skills challenges, competition, and judging could be arranged differently on the day of the competition based on the number of fields available.
Any additional details will be given regarding Judging, Inspection, and Competition once you have signed up.
Concessions will be available but you are welcome to bring food and eat in designated locations.

Judging Format
In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. A judge willl come to each table and will interview the team(s).
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions. NoteBooks will only be accepted Digitally. To qualify for the Excellence, Design, and Judges Award, you must submit a notebook.
Acceptance Deadline for Digital Notebook: February 1,2023
