General Info
The 2023 IDAHO VEX IQ Challenge Slapshot Middle School/Elementary State Championship has been granted ___ VEX IQ World Championship spots.
If a team double-qualifies for a World Championship spot, the state’s next highest ranking team from the State Championship Skills receives the invitation. World Championship invitations from the Skills Standings are offered after the results of the State Championship have been posted at robotevents.com, and will not be announced at the State Championship.
World Championship qualifying awards and invitations are issued to teams whether or not the teams have expressed an intention to attend the event. Unaccepted World Championship invitations are not offered or transferred to other teams.

If we cannot hold the tournament due to weather, you will be contacted and the tournament will be rescheduled.
Refund and Payment Policies
Refunds are not given for the State Championship.
Judging Format
Judging at the State Championship will follow one of the two options below. Teams will be notified of the chosen option and all related deadlines.
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline will be scheduled ahead of the event date.
