General Info
Garden City High School is proud to host the 2022 VEX IQ Competition State Championships! This event is open to qualified middle school VEX IQ teams from previous tournaments. This event is a qualifier for the VEX World Championships in Dallas.
The event will take place in the main gym of Garden City High School. Teams are asked to review all competition rules and robot requirement. Compliance will be done on check-in prior to teams entering the competition gym.

7:45am Doors open, Registration, Pits Open
8:00 am Inspections begins, teams may drop of engineering notebooks at the judging table
9:00 am Practice Fields and Skills Field open to inspected teams only
9:20 am Driver and Coaches meetings
9:30 am – 2:00pm Qualification Matches, excellence and design award judging time

2:20 pm – 3:00 pm Finals Matches

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In case of weather, we will make every effort to contact teams at least 24 hours before the event. We will make an effort to reschedule the event.
Refund and Payment Policies
Teams that withdraw will be refunded their amount minus $5 processing fee taken out by Robotevents.

We will update this area with the link to the webcast a day before the event.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. If teams use a digital notebook, please bring a printed copy for the judges the day of the event. Please organize the pages in the correct order and if possible, put in a binder or report cover.
