Tuesday, March 9 - Thursday, March 11, 2021 (remote)

3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Remote Judging Interviews (schedule will be determined by Event Partner - teams and coaches must be available during these times for remote judging)

Saturday, March 13, 2021 (remote)

Each team may take up to 3 runs in driver challenge and up to 3 runs in autonomous challenge for the event. Event Partner will determine the schedule for the event for teams. Teams and coaches must be available during this entire time window to participate.

All times are in Pacific time.

7:00 AM  Volunteer Check In 

7:30 AM Event open for teams to join and ensure technology/field setup are acceptable

8:15 AM Team Check in begins 

8:30 AM  ALL TEAMS PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT NEED TO BE CHECKED IN OR WILL BE DROPPED 

8:30 AM Robot Inspection

8:45 AM  Event/Driver Meeting

9:00 AM Opening Ceremony

9:15 AM Skills Matches (by schedule provided by Event Partner)

12:00 PM Judging deliberations conclude

11:30 AM Lunch break (subject to change based on match cycle times)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on Robotevents.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. Event Partners will also make every effort to reach teams directly in case of an emergency. Make sure your team contact information is up to date in your robotevents.com account, as this is the information that will be used to contact your team. Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund Policy

Congratulations on earning a spot at the 2021 VEX Robotics CA State Championship Event.

Choose wisely if this is the event you are selecting. Once you register you will NOT be able to move to a different city or event. You will NOT be refunded your fee and teams will be moved to the wait list if they have not completed the payment within two weeks of registering or by the Registration Deadline, whichever comes first. It is your responsibility to make sure that the payments have been processed in time. We will use the visible record of payment on robotevents.com to make the determination.

Remote Judging Requirements

*Only Digital Engineering Notebooks will be submitted for this tournament!*

Deadline for Notebook Submission: Sunday, March 7, 2021 by 1:00pm PST.

Each teams' Primary Contact/Coach MUST complete the Google Form to submit their Digital Engineering Notebooks.

Digital Engineering Notebooks will be judged during the week of before the event.

Scheduling Remote Judging Interviews: Teams will be contacted via email by the Event Partner to select a Remote Judging Interview Time (the scheduling email will only be sent to Primary Contact listed for team in RobotEvents.com). Interviews will take place after regular school hours from March 9-11, 2021. Judging times will be from 3pm-7pm PST. ***Teams must be available during these times for remote judging interviews; interviews will not be conducted during the Live Remote Skills event.***
