2018 VEX IQ Taiwan Scrimmage旨在增進臺灣地區VEX IQ機器人教育推廣，提高臺灣學生接軌世界STEM教育機器人賽事機會。通過全球性優秀教育與競賽平台，培養學生設計及編程機器人的STEM素養，增進對於STEM及機器人教育的興趣，養成運算思維，具備團隊合作及真正解決問題的能力。
2018 VEX IQ Taiwan Scrimmage aims to promote the promotion of VEX IQ robot education in Taiwan and improve the chances of Taiwan students connecting to the world STEM educational robots. Through the global excellent education and competition platform, we will cultivate the STEM quality of students' design and programming robots, enhance their interest in STEM and robot education, develop computing thinking, and have the ability to work together and solve problems.

可從捷運站台北車站、大安站、中正紀念堂或東門站轉乘到捷運信義線搭至【台北 101/世貿站】下車， 走 5 號出口或 1 號出口 出站即是世貿一館(約步行 2 分鐘即可到達)
捷運板南線：
可從捷運站台北車站、忠孝新生、忠孝復興或南港展覽館轉乘到捷運板南線搭至【市府站】下車後， 由 2 號出口循基隆路南行至 1-6 號道路或松高路 左轉，右轉市府路南行即可抵達世貿一館。
